It finally happened! I won my first award for a cosplay! My friend Knitchick and I won "Judge's Choice- Workmanship" for our Fourth Doctor & Sarah Jane (Hand of Fear) at Chicago TARDIS 2010! It was completely unexpected but very appreciated! Photos will be coming soon on the "Completed" page. Also coming soon are the pages for Sarah Jane Smith (Sarah Jane Adventures) and Zoe Allyne Washburne. Slowly but surely!

It's been a busy few weeks for me! I've finished a brand new costume, Zoe from the TV series "Firefly" (cowboys in space!!) for our Firefly group for Wizard World/Comic Con Chicago. It wasn't a great con this year, and to be honest, most of my pictures from the day are kinda off, but we'll be doing a photo shoot soon so it gives me time to fix some things. Like my Mare's Leg rifle that was supposed to be in by Friday... guess when it came in? TODAY! Thanks a lot. So the rifle in the pictures was my ghetto painted toy version, but it worked well until I dropped it and the barrel broke off. Story of my life, right? So for those of you (all, maybe... two? Hi Herb!) looking forward to seeing me pose with guns, there's a teaser of our group.
